Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Pallet Sorter in DeSoto, TX to hand sort pallets in a fast-paced distribution facility with emphasis on safety and cleanliness. Pay is $18.00/hr with shifts Fri–Sun 4:30pm–3:00am; location 1800 N. Polk Street, DeSoto, TX 75115.

You will stack pallets, load/unload trailers, move items around the center, check load security, inspect products for quality, coordinate trailer moves, and complete production paperwork. Strong communication and overtime flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights.
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
• Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the distribution center.
• Check loads to ensure they are secure.
• Examine products for quality conformance.
• Coordinate trailer moves within yard management systems.
• Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
• Communicate regularly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager.

$18.00/hr

What You'll Do

• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights

• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand

• Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the distribution center

• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards

• Coordinate trailers moves within yard management system

• Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress

• Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
