Job summary

Cencora is hiring for a part-time distribution role in Romeoville, IL. You will fulfill customer orders, count inventory, and use RF scanning equipment to track products in a climate-controlled facility.

Requirements include a high school diploma and at least one year in warehouse/distribution. The shift runs Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with potential overtime and bonuses for performance.

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift Details

Part-Time: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00pm to Midnight

Pay Details

Pay starting at $20.00 per hours with potential for up to $25.49 per hour based on a variety of earning opportunities including shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Order fulfillment – stocking, restocking, picking and packing, and outbound shipping of customer orders.
• Perform daily cycle counting and researching discrepancies.
• Use equipment to track, monitor and verify products for distribution.
• Maintain a clean work area to keep pharmaceutical products and merchandise clean and help prevent work related injuries.
• Verify product received against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies and any obvious damages (dependent on shift assignment).

Education

Work Experience

• Minimum of one year experience (1 year) in warehouse or distribution operations in a fast-paced supply chain environment
• Minimum of one year experience (1 year) in experience operating RF Scanning equipment

Skills And Knowledge

• Able to work in climate-controlled facility.
• Ability to read and understand the English language
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting distribution standards.
• Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important.
• Able to work the shift hours listed above, plus overtime. (Overtime in most Distribution Centers is mandatory to enable real-time delivery)
• Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks on a consistent basis.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively; products vary in weight and size
• Comfortable walking up to 8 miles per shift (steps vary by role and shift)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
