Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a warehouse associate to operate material handling equipment, support drying and blending, and ensure clean, compliant processes in a GMP environment. You will restock supplies, manage pallets, and assist with shipping/receiving while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, SAP experience, and familiarity with RF scanners and bar code tech. Strong math and reading skills are essential for accurate inventory and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a high school diploma, GED or equivalency.
  • Computer literacy with experience using ERP systems such as SAP, and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience using RF scanners and bar code technology.
  • Ability to follow standard work and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Inventory control experience such as cycle counting, electronic warehouse management systems, shipping and receiving.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and some computer proficiency required.
  • Current Perrigo PIE license or the ability to qualify for one within 7 days of filling the position.
  • Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong mathematical skills; knowledge of weights and measures; basic mechanical ability and reading/comprehension skills.
  • Continuous improvement methodology experience preferred
  • Must meet all locally defined training requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Operate material handling equipment safely and transport material as needed throughout the warehouse.
  • Support operations during drying and blending process which includes helping restock supplies, removing empty pallets, drums, and trash as needed.
  • Maintains clean work environment and ensures proper care of equipment while adhering to cGMP standards.
  • Continuously looks for and help implement process improvements, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
  • Performs other related duties specific to the department as assigned.
  • Performs other duties that may include one or more of the following: bag-off operation, entering finished goods into SAP, cleaning and maintaining warehouse, assisting shipping/receiving.

Physical requirements:
  • Consistently/Frequently – Stand, walk, lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, climb stairs, stoop/bend, reach, grasp on stand-up forklift, move items/boxes, feel with hands/fingers.
  • Occasionally - Sit on sit down forklift
Environmental:
  • Occasionally - Exposure to loud noises/machinery
Other qualities:
  • Consistently/Frequently - See (vision), hear, ability to read and write, ability to interpret information, basic math, reading and writing in English
  • Occasionally – simple problem solving: incorrect inventory or placement in bins and simple decision making: quality of materials, dirty, damaged - acceptable for production
Scope of the Role

Operate material handling equipment safely and transport material as needed throughout the warehouse.

Support operations during drying and blending process which includes helping restock supplies, removing empty pallets, drums, and trash as needed.

Maintains clean work environment and ensures proper care of equipment while adhering to cGMP standards.

Continuously looks for and help implement process improvements, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.

Performs other related duties specific to the department as assigned.

Performs other duties that may include one or more of the following:

  • Bag-Off Operation/Finished Totes – Responsible for removing finished bulk totes from bag-off conveyor during drying process including weighing, palletizing, shrink wrapping, applying yellow ICC (inventory control cards), scanning, and moving to proper storage bin locations throughout the warehouse.
  • Entering Finished Goods into SAP – Accurately enter finished bulk totes into SAP using transaction MB31, printing yellow ICC cards, numbering totes, and applying yellow ICC cards in sequential order.
  • Cleaning and Maintaining Warehouse - cGMP – Responsible for assisting with maintaining warehouse daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning list, which includes following CGMP standards throughout the warehouse. Must also be able to complete decontamination form DFO-3103 accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assisting Shipping/Receiving – Assist in other areas of the warehouse such as unloading/loading trucks, processing FedEx, and UPS packages as needed.
Experience Required
