AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation is hiring for a full-time distribution associate in Glen Allen, VA. The role includes order fulfillment, cycle counting, and RF-scanning duties in a climate-controlled environment.

You must understand English and work accurately in a fast-paced setting, with overtime and weekend shifts as listed. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, with potential to earn up to $24.13 per hour through incentives and bonuses, including a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Order fulfillment including stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Perform daily cycle counting and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain clean work area to keep pharmaceutical products clean.
• Verify received products against documents and report damages.

Job Details

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift Details: Full-Time | Sunday - Thursday Sunday 4:00pm - until finish; Monday - Thursday: 3:00pm until finish. Overtime maybe required

Pay Details: Pay starting at $19.00/HR with potential for up to $24.13/HR based on a variety of earning opportunities including shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses. Sign on Bonus! $2,000 sign on bonus

Responsibilities

• Order fulfillment – stocking, restocking, picking and packing, and outbound shipping of customer orders.
• Perform daily cycle counting and researching discrepancies.
• Use equipment to track, monitor and verify products for distribution.
• Maintain a clean work area to keep pharmaceutical products and merchandise clean and help prevent work related injuries.
• Verify product received against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies and any obvious damages (dependent on shift assignment).

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Important Skills

• Able to work in climate-controlled facility.
• Ability to read and understand the English language
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting distribution standards.
• Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important.
• Able to work the shift hours listed above, plus overtime. (Overtime in most Distribution Centers is mandatory to enable real-time delivery)
• Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks on a consistent basis.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively; products vary in weight and size
• Comfortable walking up to 8 miles per shift (steps vary by role and shift)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Nice to have

• Warehouse or Distribution experience preferred (1 year or less)
• Able to work with RF scanning equipment
