Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily distribution operations, receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Training is provided; this on-site role includes a night shift (Sun–Thu, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM or until work is completed) with standard warehouse duties and multitemperature work environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Must be able to work the scheduled/overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds, depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Electric Pallet Jack experience required.
• RF Scanner experience required.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound merchandise and locate proper pick location.
• Restock order pick and flow lines to prepare warehouse for order selection.
• Ensure placement of product to accommodate routine or special demands.
• Maintain attention to detail in balers, aisles, racking, floors, door pits, and other areas.
• Transfer merchandise to appropriate location and consolidate into picking containers.
• Pack products securely in cartons and totes; label shipments.
• Ensure safe and efficient movement and tracking of products.
• Maintain inventory integrity by following system processes.
• Pull orders according to delivery route/run list.
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Perform end of shift tasks such as charging power equipment.
• Maintain an orderly workstation; report unsafe conditions.
• Follow all safety policies and perform other related duties.

Job Description:

This is a union-represented position covered by a collective bargaining agreement.

Position Details:

• Pay: $20.00 per hour


• Night shift differential: $0.50 per hour


• Performance incentive: $0.03 per piece when required production and accuracy standards are met


• Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, or until work is completed


• No warehouse experience is required. Training is provided.

Position Purpose:

Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company's success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. The Warehouse Person moves and tracks all inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse. Offloads, stocks, selects, and replenishes products.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Receives all inbound merchandise and locate proper pick location.


• Restocks order pick and flow lines to prepare warehouse for order selection.


• Ensures placement of product in sufficient quantities to accommodate routine or special demands.


• Maintains a high level of attention to detail by ensuring that proper attention is given to all areas including, but not limited to; balers, aisles, racking, floors, door pits, and other areas as assigned.


• Transfers merchandise from the receiving area to it appropriate location. Consolidates merchandise into picking containers as necessary.


• Packs products securely in cartons and totes. Ensures application of shipping ID and mark cartons/totes with truck run and stop number.


• Ensures safe and efficient movement and tracking of inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse.


• Maintains inventory integrity by adhering to system processes.


• Pulls orders according to sequencing on delivery route/run list.


• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.


• Performs end of shift tasks such as: charging power equipment and verifying completed work.


• Maintains orderly workstation; return supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.


• Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines. Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.


• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift


• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry


• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience


• Electric Pallet Jack experience required


• RF Scanner experience required.


• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Preferred qualifications:

• 6 + months of warehouse experience


• 6 + months of electric pallet experience


• Foodservice distribution or related industry experience
