Job summary

National Coatings and Supplies Inc. seeks a Warehouse Associate in Fort Mill, SC. You will pick, stock, count, and adjust inventory using handheld scanners, and support shipping, receiving, labeling, and forklift tasks to keep operations efficient.

You will also deliver parts and equipment to customers in a safe, courteous manner, maintain clean storage areas, and observe safety rules. This role offers benefits and potential career growth.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to stand and walk up to 3 hours at a time.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop or crawl.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving of materials.
• Palletizing and un-palletizing materials.
• Make inventory adjustments as directed by supervisor.
• Labeling cans and maintaining correct labeling.
• Janitorial duties and general store cleanliness.
• Operate a forklift safely.
• Count inventory to reconcile stock.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.

Job description

National Coatings and Supplies Inc. Warehouse Associates are responsible for accurately picking, stocking, counting, and adjusting inventory in a timely manner, as needed through the use of hand held bar code scanners within the store.

Warehouse Associate Duties:

• Shipping and receiving of materials
• Palletizing and un-palletizing materials
• Ability to make appropriate inventory adjustments at the direction of supervisor
• Labeling cans
• Janitorial duties
• Driving a forklift
• Counting inventory
• Other duties as assigned

Delivery Duties:

• Use company vehicle to deliver parts and equipment to customers in a safe and courteous manner.
• Clean and maintain store and inventory storage area in safe and orderly condition.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and washed.
• Observe company work and safety rules.
• Check in daily freight and note shipping discrepancies.

Warehouse Associate Qualifications:

• HS Diploma/ GED
• 1-3 months of related experience preferred.
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
• Ability to stand and walk up to 3 hours at a time is required.
• Ability to lift 20lbs regularly and up to 50lbs on occasion.
