Job summary

MSC Industrial Direct Co.,Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to hand-pick products, prepare shipments, and move pallets using motorized equipment in our Customer Fulfillment Center.

The role operates Monday through Friday, 12:00pm to 8:30pm, with a starting wage of $20 per hour and opportunities to grow within a fast-paced environment. You will verify items, batch orders, and use RF devices to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

• Requires basic computer skills for order processing and tracking.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet customer needs.
• Valid state drivers license in some locations.
• Internal certification to drive powered equipment within specified time.
• Internal certification to pick DOT-regulated items if required.
• Physical ability to stand, lift up to 75 pounds, and operate equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick and count items from bins, racks, and shelves to fulfill orders.
• Load, unload, and move products manually or with equipment.
• Verify items by numbers, descriptions, and quantity; inspect for damage.
• Batch orders and attach packing slips; use RF scanning.
• Operate basic and advanced powered equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers).
• Cross-train in other departments to support operations.
• Follow safety rules, meet productivity and quality standards, participate in Work Clean program.

Warehouse Associate

$20/hr

M-F 12:00pm - 8:30pm

Merchandise Selector MSC is growing-and going-strong. We seek a team player who thrives in a fast-moving environment to manually select product for orders and prepare for shipment, and transport pallets on motorized pallet jacks throughout our Customer Fulfillment Center.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

You will have a hands-on role in our warehouse to ensure delivery of our vast product line to our valued customers.

• Pick and count items from bins, flat stock and racks to fill orders.
• Load, unload and move product by hand, tote or by skid.
• Verify products using item numbers, descriptions, and quantity; inspect products for damage or improper packaging; and use RF equipment to validate items.
• Batch orders and assign packing slips to pick product to totes via RF scanning.
• Operate basic (i.e., electric pallet jack, forklift) and advanced (i.e., turret truck, order picker) powered equipment.
• Train cross-functionally in other departments and functions in order to support business requirements.
• Follow safety guidelines at all times, meet specified productivity and quality expectations, and participate in Work Clean program.

WHAT IT TAKES

Compensation starting at $20/hr depending on candidate location and experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
