Job summary

CO1010 CDW Logistics, LLC is seeking a Pick-Packer to perform picking, packing, and quality control for outbound shipments. The role includes configurations, customer-owned inventory, and Buy and Hold products, with RF scanners or voice-picking and MHE usage.

Required are a high school diploma, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs. Prior warehouse experience and AS400 familiarity are a plus.

Job Summary

The Pick-Packer performs the function of picking, packing, and quality controlling of outbound shipments. These orders can also include Configurations, Customer Owned Inventory, and Buy and Hold products.

What you’ll do

Pick and quality control by accurately inspecting, counting, and shipping products using RF scanners or *voice-picking (*WDC Only). Utilize pallet-jack or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to move pallets of materials or products. Prioritize picking by ship methods. Utilize various AS400 menu options. Follow Preferred Methods and Safety guidelines. Rotate throughout the Shipping department performing various shipping functions, including housekeeping. Assist other areas of Operations, including cross-department functions, for training and operational purposes. Attain individual and department goals.

What we expect of you

High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong organizational, counting, and multitasking skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders. Ability to perform 8 or more hours of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying products in any combination at any given time. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. (team-lift for anything above 50lbs). Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, which includes changes in temperature as the weather fluctuates, and noise from conveyors and forklifts. Warehouse experience and experience with AS400 or other warehouse management system, a plus.

Pay range

Pay range: $20.00 depending on experience and skill set.
