Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in CT. You will handle a variety of material handling tasks, including pulling and assembling orders, receiving and stocking materials, and assisting with inventory.

This role uses forklifts/cranes daily; requires a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of warehouse experience. We offer competitive pay and benefits, with opportunities for advancement within the Mohawk family.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic math skills, organization skills, customer service skills, fluency in English, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conducting daily cycle counts.
• Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Maintains a clean and organized facility by sweeping, removing trash, restroom, and performing general office maintenance, etc.
• May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.
• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.
• Performs other related duties as required.
