Job summary

NMC Cat in Nebraska is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to keep the store supply chain running smoothly. You’ll pull and fill orders, ship and receive products, and sometimes work directly with customers to identify needs and arrange pick-up or drop-off.

Having a mechanical aptitude is a big plus as you will inspect product returns and, on occasion, make hydraulic hoses to specification. The shift is Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 6 PM, with opportunities to contribute to a busy team.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude or background is a big plus.
• Experience handling order pulling, shipping and receiving.
• Ability to assist customers with requests.

Responsibilities

• Review order board, work orders and pick tags to determine items to be pulled and distributed. Pulls and sorts items. Prepare and coordinate items for pick up or shipment.
• Receive and unload daily warehouse shipments verifying items and quantities. Separate, sort and stock inventory.
• Handle customer or technician returns.
• Perform error/audit checks.
• Assist call-in and walk in customers with requests.
• General cleaning and housekeeping duties.
