E&H Ace Hardware is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations and ensure efficient inventory flow from receiving to stocking. This role suits someone who enjoys physical work and values organization for a safe, smooth operation.

Responsibilities span inventory control, customer assistance with large orders, and proper stocking practices. The position includes forklift operation and adherence to safety standards in a dynamic Ohio store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic computer skills (PC operations and data entry) are expected.
• Forklift certification is a plus and can be obtained through the company.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and efficiency are essential.
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming merchandise against invoices and purchase orders.
• Report shortages, damages, or backorders to the appropriate team member.
• Label, price, and organize merchandise for stocking.
• Maintain accurate receiving files and inventory records.
• Restock product in the warehouse and assist in placing it on the sales floor.
• Load customer purchases into vehicles carefully and efficiently.
• Assist customers and team members with lifting, moving, or locating large items.
• Use a 2-way radio and respond promptly to calls and pages.
• Communicate with management, delivery personnel, and store associates.
• Operate forklifts, pushcarts, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Prepare and package items for mailing or transfer.
• Assist with promotional setup and special event displays.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company protocols.
