Job summary

Sid Harvey’s New Haven, CT is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate to efficiently process orders and assist customers with purchases and shipments. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and professional conduct in all activities.

You will load/unload trucks, locate inventory, perform cycle counts, and keep aisles clear while helping maintain a safe, organized branch environment. Forklift operation is required, with the possibility of additional safety duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must maintain safety and accuracy in all tasks.
• Ability to read numbers and labels for order filling and receiving material.
• Able to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Pass drug test.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with purchases and orders.
• Collect, verify, and organize inventory; locate merchandise in warehouse.
• Accurately fill customer orders and load/unload trucks safely.
• Check in and put away material; maintain clean aisles and work areas.
• Report back orders or discrepancies to Branch Manager.
• Assist in cycle counts and year-end inventories.
• Operate forklift inspections as required.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Branch Manager.
