Job summary

Wieland is hiring a Warehouse Helper to support overall warehouse operations in Commerce, CA. The role involves receiving material, processing products, maintaining inventory, setting up machine stations, and packing outgoing material; work will be fully on-site.

Starting pay is $22.00 per hour with a 7:30am–4pm schedule and bi-weekly pay. Benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of manufacturing industries preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers and management.
• Ability to work as part of a team and offer assistance to teammates when necessary.
• Ability to work flexible hours as required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe organized working environment.
• Assist in reviewing incoming shipping documents and update inventory.
• Assist in reviewing outgoing shipping documents and package product.
• Assist in inspections of inventory and product orders for accuracy.
• Assist in loading/unloading packages from trucks.
• Report product discrepancies to management.
• Assist with the setup of material on machines.
• Actively communicate with teammates.
• Operate forklifts to relocate material.
• Other Operations tasks as assigned
