Job summary

LeanTeq, a division of EnPro Industries, seeks a warehouse/inventory associate to support daily operations, including receiving, inspecting, tracking, and shipping parts and materials. You will maintain inventory using barcode systems and comply with ISO 9001 standards while collaborating with production teams to meet delivery schedules.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in inventory control and warehousing, forklift operation experience, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

This role supports daily warehouse, logistics, and inventory operations to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient handling of customer parts, materials, and supplies. Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, tracking, and shipping materials, as well as managing inventory levels by monitoring incoming and outgoing goods, identifying reorder needs, and initiating restock requests based on demand. The position requires operating material-handling equipment, driving company delivery vehicles as needed, and utilizing computerized systems for inventory control and documentation. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, effective communication with production team members, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment while supporting applicable quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, track, and ship customer parts, materials, and supplies accurately and efficiently
  • Perform initial and ongoing inspections, ensuring proper documentation using computerized tracking and barcode systems
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and ladders to move, stage, and store incoming and outgoing inventory
  • Drive company box trucks and delivery vehicles to pick up or deliver supplies as needed
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by counting, reconciling, and monitoring stock throughout the facility
  • Process and document returned items, inventory adjustments, and invoices
  • Order inventory from vendors in coordination with the purchasing department
  • Monitor inventory discrepancies and support loss-prevention initiatives
  • Perform quality checks on stored inventory to ensure compliance with company and ISO 9001 standards
  • Prepare inventory, shipping, and operational reports for supervisors and management
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and receiving area
  • Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, answering calls, and assisting internal customers
  • Collaborate with production and warehouse team members to meet customer-driven delivery schedules
  • Support a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
  • Order inventory from vendors in coordination with the purchasing department
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Highschool or G.E.D.
  • 1-2 years in inventory control
  • 1-2 years in receiving and warehouse operations
  • Proven experience operating forklifts and small delivery vehicles
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and safely handle delicate parts, equipment, and hazardous materials
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35lbs pounds and work on ladders
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy
  • Comfortable using computer systems for inventory management, documentation, and reporting
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
Pay:

$26-$28/hour

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle and feel; talk or hear and smell. The employee is required to lift and/or move up to 35lbs pounds on a repetitive basis. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus, especially during inspection operations.

This job equally operates in a production and professional office environment. The environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts or equipment. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 35 pounds. Physical requirements further include the ability to engage in productive and collaborative communication and may need to be performed during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends and possibly holidays. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move about the facility. The employee is required to sit; use hands to finger; handle; or feel/hold objects; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; speak, hear, and smell. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear as well as interact with other employees. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the incumbent must be able to sit/stand and use a computer for extended periods of time.
