Job summary

Parts Authority is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Windsor Locks, CT. This full-time role supports our distribution operations by receiving, labeling, stocking, and replenishing inventory to meet customer needs.

The position emphasizes accuracy, safety, and timely order fulfillment in a fast-paced team environment. Responsibilities include processing incoming stock, maintaining records, operating warehouse equipment, and preparing orders for shipment.

Qualifications

Follow directions accurately in writing and verbally.
Maintain productivity and quality standards per department rules.
Regularly lift 10–50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach and balance as required.
Adhere to safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Receive, label, and store incoming stock and shipments.
Maintain inventory records and assess stock for damages.
Fill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Operate warehouse tools and equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, safely).
Prepare and pick orders for shipment; track arrival/departure times.

Responsibilities

The warehouse associate is responsible for receiving,labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping aconcise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders. We only wantdynamic, career-minded people who are willing to dedicate themselves to this job.

The warehouse associate is responsible for virtually of all day-to-day tasks that keepthe warehouse running efficiently. The Warehouse Associate is responsible forreceiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages,keeping a concise record of inventory, accurately filling customer orders, and pickingof parts to fulfill orders. Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock.
Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock.
Scan items into the warehouse management system
Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages.
Organizing the warehouse space.
Preparing orders for shipment.
Picking orders for shipment.
Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments.
Operating stock management tools: for example, powered industrialequipment and pallet jacks.
Counting stock and keeping inventory records.
Routine cleaning duties
Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized
Maintain safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh upto 100 lbs.
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance
May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred.
