• Reads production schedules, orders, and requisitions to determine items to move or distribute.
• Maintains inventory records and places materials in specified locations.
• Follows HACCP standards and safety procedures for everyday tasks.

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved.
• Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Places materials on racks, shelves or bins according to product code or type.
• Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials and distributes items to production workers.
• Assembles customer orders and moves them to packing or shipping.
