Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a warehouse associate to support shipment handling, stocking and delivery duties. The role emphasizes safety and efficient processing of goods, with forklift operation and inventory checks as core tasks.

The position involves loading, unloading, picking, stocking and ensuring accurate shipment details while maintaining a clean work area and adhering to safety policies. On-site work with opportunities for ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts and records shipment data into the system. Matches packing list information to actual packed merchandise.
• Safely operates forklift, pallet jacks or other machinery to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, fabricating, picking, stocking, staging, and transportation of goods.
• Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated area.
• Verify physical inventory and assist with cycle counts. Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects.
• Maintains condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).
• Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
• May perform order layout and make changes to carriers or picking method.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
