Job summary

Core & Main LP is seeking a warehouse associate to support shipping, receiving, stocking and order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment in Texas. You will operate forklifts, handle packing lists, ensure accurate inventory, and contribute to safe, efficient storage and transport of goods.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, warehouse experience, and sit-down forklift experience. Expect a team-driven atmosphere with safety training and ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Warehouse experience.
• Sit-down forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts and records shipment data into the system.
• Matches packing list information to actual packed merchandise.
• Prepares packages/merchandise for storage.
• Safely operates forklift, pallet jacks or other machinery to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, fabricating, picking, stocking, staging, and transportation of goods.
• Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated area.
• May operate forklift or other machinery to complete tasks.
• Verify physical inventory and assist with cycle counts.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects.
• Maintains condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).
• Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
• May perform order layout and make changes to carriers or picking method.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
