Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Warehouse Associate II for 1st shift (7am–3pm) at about $21.40 per hour. The role includes forklift operation, trailer security, and inventory control within a dynamic warehouse environment.

You may train others and support safety and process improvements in a Fortune 500 manufacturing setting. Required are at least 6 months in warehousing, ability to lift 80 lbs, and familiarity with AS400 systems or willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in a warehouse position.
• Ability to operate lift truck equipment and pass the Mohawk lift truck certification.
• Working knowledge of AS400 system, or willingness to learn system operation.
• Able to lift minimum of 80 lbs several times per shift.
• Able to work in warehouse environment, subject to periods of extreme heat and cold.
• May have to work outside at certain intervals.
• Able to sit, stand, reach, bend, climb and twist without restrictions.
• Ability to climb on and off a lift truck numerous times a shift.
• Works in and around moving equipment and machinery.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Vision must be correctable to 20/40.
• Must be able to work day or night shifts.
• Dependable, with good attendance record.
• Flexible regarding work schedule, as requirements often change due to business demands.

Responsibilities

1st Shift Monday thru Friday 7am – 3pm

Must be able to efficiently perform all of the following functions:
