Job summary

Groves Industrial is seeking a Warehouse Operations team member in Washington state (Vantage) to perform a mix of manual and automated tasks for receiving, storing, and shipping product. This role supports efficient flow from vendor receipt to shipment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years' experience preferred, valid driver’s license, and solid written and oral communication. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP data entry is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years’ warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with ability to deliver to customer sites.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Detail oriented with accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment meeting metrics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic data entry in ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs one or more warehouse operational functions within the guidelines of the facility (pick, pack, wrap, load, ship and possibly deliver orders containing a variety of products to for/to our customers).
• Accurately performs product repackaging of orders daily.
• Demonstrates basic material handling/ packaging /warehouse equipment skills.
• Responsible for delivering product to the customers’ specifications/agreed arrangement in a safe and courteous manner treating the customer with the utmost respect as a representative of the company
• Load and unload product properly on DGI vehicles.
• DGI vehicle is clean and tidy by end of business day
• Take inventory, document and invoice orders and product movement
• Count, compare, check, and inspect quantities of materials and product in support of the order fulfillment and distribution of company goods in the warehouse
• Ensuring product is delivered in a timely manner
• Responsible for coordinating with management to set up delivery schedule
• Other duties as assigned

Skills And Experience Required

• Salary range: $41,600 - $47,840
• High School diploma or GED required
• 1+ years’ experience preferred but not required
• Must have a valid driver’s license with the ability to deliver product to customer sites
• Demonstrates effective written/oral communication skills and customer service skills
• Individual must be detail oriented and accurate
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established distribution metrics and standards
• Solid math skills
• Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team-oriented environment with an emphasis on total customer satisfaction
• Basic data entry using ERP systems; MS Office experience a plus
• Motivated and takes initiative
