Job summary

Core & Main is hiring for a warehouse associate in Sioux Falls, SD. The role involves receiving and recording shipment data, operating forklifts and related equipment, and delivering products to designated areas.

You will verify inventory, inspect stock, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while following company safety policies. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of experience, with forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts and records shipment data into the system.
• Safely operates forklift, pallet jacks or other machinery to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, fabricating, picking, stocking, staging, and transportation of goods.
• Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated area.
• Verify physical inventory and assist with cycle counts.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects.
• Maintains condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).
• Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
• May perform order layout and make changes to carriers or picking method.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Safely operates forklift, pallet jacks or other machinery to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, fabricating, picking, stocking, staging, and transportation of goods.
• Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated area.
• Verify physical inventory and assist with cycle counts.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects.

Preferably, YOU have:

• High school diploma or GED

• Forklift experience
