Joe W. Fly Company in San Angelo, TX is recruiting a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our on-site team. You will handle receiving, unloading, organizing, and preparing orders, while upholding safety and accuracy in daily warehouse operations.

The role is full-time, on-site at the San Angelo branch with benefits including health insurance, retirement matching, profit sharing, and PTO. Prior warehouse experience preferred and ability to pass a background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments.
• Sort, organize, and store products in designated areas of the warehouse.
• Prepare orders for delivery and shipment to customers; cut filter media.
• Perform inventory counts and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with deliveries when required, and ensure safe handling and delivery of products to customers.

What You'll Do

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of warehouse-related experience preferred.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check and drug screen (if required).
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and reliable transportation to and from work.
• At least 18 years old and at least 1 year of U.S. driving experience (satisfactory results from driving record check/MVR required).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
• Comfortable working on ladders and using general hand and power tools.
• Ability to read screens and documents and communicate effectively in person.
• Able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus!
• Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills.
• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer and math skills are helpful.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Full-time, Monday–Friday (8-hour shifts)
• Work performed on-site at the San Angelo branch warehouse.
• Warehouse environment with temperature variations, loud noise levels, and active equipment operation.
• Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs.

Compensation and Benefits

• This is an hourly position and pay rate is based on experience.
• Benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance, 401(k) with 100% match up to 4%, profit sharing, and paid time off.
