Safelite Fulfilment in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Warehouse Associate II to prepare glass products for distribution to field teams, ensuring on-time shipping and accuracy.

You will operate MHE such as forklift and reach truck up to 40 feet, use RF scanners to track inventory, build pallets, and assist with offloading. Must be 18+ with MHE experience and safety-focused.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience operating material handling equipment (MHE) such as forklift/order picker/reach truck.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb occasionally and 35 lb frequently.

Responsibilities

• Operate at least one piece of MHE (e.g., forklift, reach truck) to heights up to 40 ft.
• Break down pallets and prepare dunnage for inventory.
• Receive, pick, ship, or locate inventory using handheld RF scanners.
• Maintain safety, PPE compliance and a clean work area.
• Assist with offloading tractor trailers and general duties as assigned.

The Warehouse Associate II prepares our glass for distribution to our field operation teams by performing various functions to meet rigorous shipping timelines to get the right parts to the right team members to serve our customers.

Base Pay Range: $18.70 - $26.20 (USD).

Responsibilities

• Operate at least one piece of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as a forklift, reach truck, or order picker raised to heights of up to 40 feet.
• Engage in daily warehousing tasks such as pallet breakdown and dunnage preparation.
• Utilize handheld RF scanners to receive, pick, ship, or locate inventory.
• Adhere to all safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Maintain a secure and clean work area through general housekeeping.
• Build steel pallets and prepare them for inventory replenishment.
• Assist with offloading tractor trailers by hand.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience with some MHE equipment such as a order picker, forklift, or reach truck.
• To safely operate the order picker and comply with equipment manufacturer specifications and required safety regulations, there is a weight limit set at 300 pounds. If you are hired to operate this equipment, you will need to weigh under 300lbs.
• Strength to perform physical tasks involving repetitive moving or raising of objects weighing up to 35 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with working in various environmental conditions, such as seasonal heat or cold, and staying in a stationary position for long shifts.
• Punctuality and consistent attendance to help your teammates.
• Positive attitude with a focus on exceptional service.
