Job description

POSITION PURPOSE:

Pick pack involves selecting various components and packing them into boxes for outbound shipments. The role includes accurately picking and delivering customer orders to ensure satisfaction. Materials are moved using Powered Industrial Trucks in a safe environment. Attention to detail is necessary to identify quality issues. SBS handles material receipt and put-away functions to maintain product flow and inventory accuracy. The role also involves picking and sorting materials onto designated racks for outbound shipments.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Receiving inbound materials, processing put-away, replenishment, and picking customer orders.
  2. Delivering customer orders to stage lanes following safety and ergonomic procedures.
  3. Using equipment such as pallet jacks, walkie riders, and dunnage to handle products.
  4. Working efficiently, participating in 5S housekeeping, and restocking supplies.
  5. Reading and understanding warehouse documents, providing continuous improvement suggestions, and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND/OR COMPETENCIES:

  • Must pass drug test and background check.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to push/pull up to 24 lbs. of force.
  • Ability to lift/carry 32 lbs. occasionally.
  • PIT Training/PIT License required for all tasks.
