Job summary

Hach, a Veralto company, is seeking a Warehouse Associate I for our Romeoville, IL location. You will handle incoming/outgoing materials, reagents, instruments, and equipment to meet customer expectations, including picking, packing, labeling, and shipping of orders.

Some areas may require setup and equipment operation. You will report to the Distribution Operations Manager and work onsite in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment with opportunities for skill development and career growth.

Qualifications

• Prior distribution experience preferred.
• Some areas require the ability to operate manual and/or power equipment.
• Proficient in using computers for data entry and Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English is required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick items accurately to customer orders.
• Escalate inventory inaccuracies to inventory control team.
• Restock supplies as needed.
• Pack quality products according to standard work and regulations, ensuring safe delivery to customers.
• Pack hazardous and non-hazardous orders according to ticket instructions.
• Audit and inspect orders before staging and shipping; verify labels and documents.
• Escalate inventory inaccuracies to inventory control.
• Investigate aged and missing orders.
• Follow safety and housekeeping policies including PPE usage.
• Accurately perform required computer data entry and work order transactions.
