Job summary

Hach (Veralto) is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Romeoville, IL to accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders. You will label, inspect, and prepare items for delivery while following safety guidelines and standard work procedures.

Reporting to the Distribution Area Manager, you will handle order data entry, equipment operation as needed, and maintain quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. This role supports the Water Quality mission of Veralto.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English is required.
• Proficiency with computers for data entry using Microsoft Office.
• Ability to operate manual and/or power equipment.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick items accurately to customer orders and prepare for shipping.
• Pack quality products per standard work and regulatory requirements.
• Pack hazardous and non-hazardous orders according to ticket instructions.
• Audit and inspect orders before staging and shipping.
• Investigate aged and missing orders.
• Follow safety policies and proper housekeeping, including PPE usage.

Reporting to the Distribution Area Manager, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for the timely and accurate picking, packing, over-labeling, kits building and shipping of all customer orders. In some areas, minor set-up and equipment operation may be required.

This position is part of the Hach - Supply Chain & Multifunction/General - Chicago Administration located in Romeoville IL onsite.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Pick items accurately to customer orders.
• Pack quality products according to standard work and regulation set by compliance department, ensuring quality product is safely delivered to customer.
• Pack hazardous and non-hazardous orders according to pick ticket instructions.
• Audit and inspect orders before staging and shipping.
• Investigate aged and missing orders.
• Comply with company safety policies & housekeeping policies including safe operation of equipment, PPE usage, etc.
• Accurately perform required computer data entry and work order transactions.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• A minimum of a HS diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Prior distribution experience preferred.
• The ability to work with manual and/or power equipment.
• Proficient in using computers for data entry utilizing Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English is required.
• Bilingual language skills are a plus.

The compensation range for this role is $22.50 - $22.50 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
