Job summary

Core & Main in St. Louis is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support loading, unloading, stocking, picking, staging, and transportation of goods. You will verify inventory and assist with cycle counts while keeping the work area organized and safe.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred and forklift experience is a plus. You should be able to prioritize tasks, work as part of a team, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to load/unload and move materials.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from racks, shelves, or vehicles.
• Sort, stock, pick, stage, and transport goods as needed.
• Verify inventory and assist with cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Receive and fill orders; may operate forklift and other machinery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Stack or pile materials, such as lumber, boards, or palletsInstall protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.Verify physical inventory and assist with cycle counts.Maintains condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).
