Job summary

Fresenius Kabi is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Pleasant Prairie, WI to support distribution center operations. You will perform receiving, put-away, replenishment, and order fulfillment, ensuring accurate picks and proper packing for shipment.

Responsibilities include using PIT equipment, verifying quantities against BOL and packing lists, and entering data into SAP. A safety-focused, team-driven environment is emphasized with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to operate PIT equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders.
  • Basic math and English reading skills for documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, sort, put away, and stage orders by product code and quantity.
  • Inspect trucks/containers and report any abnormality to management.
  • Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and dock activities.
  • Pack orders securely and prepare shipping documentation.
  • Log receipts in SAP using RF scanners and ERP terminals.
  • Support inventory cycle counts and maintain GMP/safety standards.

Job description

Job Summary Responsible for order fulfillment activities at the Market Unit Distribution Center including all functional areas of distribution operations and warehousing. This includes but not limited to Receiving; Put-away; Replenishment; Customer Order Fulfillment; Dock Activity – Shipping; Inventory Cycle Counting; Sanitation and Maintenance, daily assignments to support these activities, and other duties in greater or lesser degrees as determined by supervisory staff.

Responsibilities

Starting at $21.43/Hr

  1. 1) Accurately pick, sort, put away, and stage customer orders according to product code, lot number, and quantity requested.
  2. 2) Inspects truck/container for the condition of temperature and cleanliness and reports any abnormality to management.
  3. 3) Organizes the dock and prepares for inbound and outbound shipments.
  4. 4) Notate and report any discrepancies and/or damages to the Supervisor per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  5. 5) Check picked orders for accuracy of lot numbers, quantities, and document completion.
  6. 6) Accurately pack customer orders in compliance with instructions on the order form or as provided by the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  7. 7) Pack completed orders in such a manner as to protect the product from loss or damage.
  8. 8) Process parcel shipments using the provided Ship Station Meters. Palletize metered packages for transfer to the appropriate carrier and mode of shipping (ground or air).
  9. 9) For less than truck load (LTL) palletized shipments; scan, palletize cases, weigh and stretch-wrap truck orders.
  10. 10) Create, check, or print Bill of Lading (BOL), packing slips, and accurately stage for shipping or receiving as required.
  11. 11) Confirms and compares all identifying information and counts items to verify information against BOL, packing lists, invoices, orders, or other records.
  12. 12) Verifies and files records of all receiving and shipping documentation at the time of delivery and receipt.
  13. 13) Inputs receipts into SAP, utilizing both radio frequency (RF) scanning devices and desktop or laptop terminals.
  14. 14) Loading and unloading of trucks as assigned.
  15. 15) Supports inventory cycle counts, as required by Inventory Control.
  16. 16) Observe all safety guidelines; inform Supervisor of any safety hazards; attend all required safety training classes.
  17. 17) Able to operate material handling equipment as necessary to move materials while complying with all safety and power industrial truck operating rules.
  18. 18) Responsible to learn all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and be fully compliant with all regulations regarding the handling, storage, and shipping of Dangerous Drugs and Medical Devices.
  19. 19) Cleans, maintains, and ensures proper housekeeping in the facility to meet and exceed Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
  20. 20) Responsible for reasonable duties as assigned by Team Lead or Supervisor. All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per your roles and responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous related experience is not required, however, knowledge of warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Ability to use Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), such, walkie-riders, cherry pickers, deep reaches, and sit-down forklifts.
  • Ability to learn new skills, have a high level of attention to detail and demonstrate personal responsibility.
  • Basic mathematical and reading skills in English
  • Effective problem-solving skills, sound judgment, organizational skills, time-management skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-orientated environment.
  • Computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office products is a plus.
