Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a warehouse associate to load and unload materials, verify inventory, and assist customers with orders. You will operate a forklift and maintain a clean, safe work environment outdoors at a distribution site in Utah.

Required is a high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass pre-employment screening. Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential for success in this role with opportunities for growth and safety training.

Responsibilities

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

• Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pile materials, such as lumber, boards, or pallets
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
• Verify physical inventory and assist with cycle counts.
• Maintains condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
• Receive and fill orders or sell supplies, materials, and products to customers.
• Operate a forklift or other machinery to complete tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
