Hunter Engineering Company is hiring a Warehouse Associate I for their Service Center in Maryland Heights, Missouri. This role involves responsibilities such as receiving, picking, and packing orders, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely shipments. No prior warehouse experience is required; however, proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to lift heavy objects are essential. The position offers benefits like quarterly bonuses and a generous profit-sharing plan.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation (occasionally 60-75 lbs.).
• Ability to lift, bend and twist.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately pick shipping orders using a scanner.
• Verify completed order's accuracy and pack order in preparation for shipping.
• Weigh and label packages for shipment using UPS software.
• Prepare pallets for shipment and load them onto trucks.
• Timely receipt of incoming freight shipments.
• Unload goods off trucks with the use of pallet jacks and/or powered industrial equipment.
• Package, store, and stock incoming inventory in its appropriate place.
• Maintain appropriate and accurate inventory levels in the pick room and overstock locations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Hunter offers $19.25 as the starting rate with opportunities for advancement in level and pay. Hunter offers a set schedule of Monday through Friday with occasional overtime required.

What you will do:
