Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is hiring for a warehouse team member in Fairfield, NJ. The role involves heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment and delivery duties in a 26’ box truck.

You will pull, stage, and load product while ensuring excellent service to customers. Candidates must be at least 21 with a valid driver’s license and one year of driving experience, pass DOT requirements, and read/speak English per DOT guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license, with at least one year of driving experience.
• Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50-75lb) and constant movement.
• Must be able to pass all DOT requirements, including physical, background screening, and a MVR that must meet Amarr driver standards.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming product (50-75lb) mostly by hand
• Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service
• Provide deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed
• Assist with inventory and damage control
