Job summary

Vallen Distribution is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Pooler, GA. You will receive, stock, and dispatch goods in a fast-paced distribution center, following established procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading shipments, labeling and storing items, and preparing orders for shipment. Proficiency with basic computer systems is expected; forklift/cherry picker experience preferred, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year warehouse experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders and instructions.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, and dispatch goods following procedures.
• Unload, inspect incoming shipments and check for damage.
• Sort, label and store goods on racks; optimize warehouse space.
• Prepare, pack, and dispatch outgoing orders using pick sheets.
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Maintain accurate stock records in the database and report discrepancies.
• Follow safety regulations and team collaboration guidelines.
