Job summary

Echo Electric, a Sonepar brand, is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will receive, pick, pack, and ship orders, cut wire, and help maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment.

You should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, operate warehouse equipment, and work a Monday 7:00am–5:00pm shift. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a global leader.

Qualifications

• Willing to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and wire cutting machines.
• Ability to lift materials up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the warehouse.
• Basic problem-solving and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick, check, pack, and ship orders of varying sizes, from small boxes to pallets.
• Load, unload, and move materials using safety equipment, hand trucks, and forklifts.
• Receive, check in and store inventory with attention to quality and quantity.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut using appropriate equipment.
• Sweep floors and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.
• Record damaged or defective materials.
