Job summary

Capitol Materials, Inc. in Ocean Springs, MS is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support warehouse maintenance, shipping/receiving, and delivery setup.

You will pull materials for orders, load and unload trucks, and ensure accurate inventory placement for customer pickup or delivery. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and timely task completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; 1-3 years of experience or more is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; ability to lead, execute and/or delegate as needed.
• Ability to self-manage, show initiative, be proactive, and drive results.
• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders by pulling materials and placing them for pickup or delivery; load and unload trucks as needed.
• Maintain inventory controls through minimizing material damage and ensuring order accuracy.
• Organize the warehouse and manage bin locations; lift up to 50 lbs., walk or stand for most of the shift, and wear protective gear and steel-toed boots.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
