Job summary

Core-Mark, a major distributor serving the food industry, is seeking warehouse associates at our Heath, OH location. You will move, stock and pick products, maintain inventory integrity, and ensure safe and efficient warehouse operations.

The role requires physical endurance, multi-temperature work, and the ability to pass background and drug checks. Competitive pay with shift options and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work the scheduled times and overtime as required.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10-35 lbs and up to 60-90 lbs depending on location.
• Work in cooler, freezer and dry environments.
• Able to obtain powered equipment certifications (e.g., forklift).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Receives all inbound merchandise and locates proper pick locations.
• Restocks order pick and flow lines to prepare for order selection.
• Ensures product placement in sufficient quantities for demands.
• Maintains attention to detail across areas like aisles, racking, and floors.
• Transfers merchandise to appropriate locations and consolidates for picking.
• Packs products securely in cartons and totes.
• Labels shipping IDs and tracks cartons/totes with run numbers.
• Ensures safe, efficient movement of goods in/out of the warehouse.
• Maintains inventory integrity by following system processes.
• Pulls orders per delivery route/run list.
• Records materials received or distributed; performs end-of-shift tasks.
• Maintains an orderly workstation and reports unsafe conditions.
