The Salvation Army Southern California is hiring a Warehouse Associate for its West Covina Store to support the Production Team and the Adult Rehabilitation Program. This on-site role focuses on sorting merchandise, inspecting quality, and moving goods within the distribution center to meet program needs.

The position requires a high school diploma, the ability to read and follow instructions, and passing a background check. $16.90 per hour with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to read, write and understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sorting product efficiently and properly according to TSA policy.
• Provide Quality Assurance by inspecting products for defects and damages.
• Identify product correctly and direct to proper department for processing.
• Collecting merchandise from the distribution center and safely transporting materials.
• Follow safety measures established and maintained by TSA policy and government regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality as needed and required for the operation of the total program.
