Job summary

Lulu & Georgia is seeking a Warehouse Associate (Furniture Mover) in Bellflower, CA to support our studio operations. This entry-level role involves receiving and moving furniture and decor samples, uploading inventory, and assisting with in-house photoshoots.

The role requires attention to detail, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. You will work with a cross-functional team including buyers and production design to ensure smooth sample flow.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse environment or inventory management.
• Must live in the Los Angeles area; Bellflower, CA preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs daily.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Comfortable with power tools and furniture assembly, hanging, and mounting.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and studio schedules.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and move sample deliveries, including furniture, lighting, decor, and large rugs
• Assist in the set-up and breakdown of studio sets and be present for all photoshoots to assist as needed including cleaning and prepping samples, moving furniture and photo equipment and assisting with hanging art, curtains, and/or lighting
• Maintain accurate records of all sample inventory as well as studio equipment, props, and materials
• Monitor incoming and outgoing inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed or requested
• Conduct regular audits to reconcile inventory records with physical stock
• Facilitate the preparation of photo samples for team reviews as well as prep and pack for off-site photoshoots
• Coordinate with internal teams for timely delivery and/or pick-ups of samples or studio materials; local pickup requires use of company van
• Ensure that all furniture samples and props are organized, cleaned, and readily accessible for use and that the studio is presentable
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment in the warehouse
• Collaborate cross-functionally with buyers, production team, and internal transportation team to fulfil all sample requirements, logistical challenges or special requests

Lulu & Georgia is looking for an organized, detail oriented and hard-working Warehouse Associate (Furniture Mover) to join our growing team! We are seeking a dedicated individual for an entry level role carrying out our sample warehouse logistics, including receiving/moving furniture and decor samples, uploading inventory, and assisting our studio photography team during in-house photoshoots. This position requires great attention to detail and excellent time management skills. In this role, you'll report to our Studio Warehouse Supervisor and work closely with our buying, production design, creative and internal transportation teams.
