West Shore Home in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving, and daily installation tasks. The role involves inspecting deliveries, stocking supplies, staging materials for jobs, and keeping the warehouse organized and safe.

You'll help ensure trucks are stocked, assist with inventory counts, and coordinate with the Warehouse Manager. The position is Monday–Friday with a 6:30 AM–3:00 PM schedule, and offers paid training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience, working with shipping and receiving is preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device to log into required systems using two-factor authentication.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage Shipping & Receiving: Inspect deliveries, verify quantities, document discrepancies, and route goods to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain Inventory & Supplies: Monitor consumable inventory levels, conduct periodic counts, distribute supplies, and stock trucks.
• Support Daily Installations: Stage paperwork and materials for upcoming jobs, provide necessary tools and supplies, and deliver parts to job sites.
• Maintain Warehouse & Facility: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe; perform light building maintenance.
• Ensure Compliance & Flexibility: Follow safety protocols, maintain attendance, and work overtime as needed.

Purpose Of Position

A Warehouse Associate will assist the Warehouse Manager in everything pertaining to shipping, receiving, supplies, consumables, daily installation tasks, and building/fleet maintenance.

Key Role Accountabilities

• Manage Shipping & Receiving: Inspect deliveries for damage, verify quantities and materials against bills of lading and packing slips, document discrepancies, and route goods to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain Inventory & Supplies: Monitor consumable inventory levels, conduct periodic physical counts, distribute supplies, and ensure trucks are properly stocked with necessary tools.
• Support Daily Installations: Stage paperwork and materials for upcoming jobs, provide necessary tools and supplies, and deliver parts or materials to job sites as needed.
• Maintain Warehouse & Facility: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe; perform light building maintenance and assist with snow and ice removal as needed.
• Ensure Compliance & Flexibility: Follow and promote safety protocols, maintain regular in-person attendance, communicate discrepancies to leadership, and work overtime as needed.

Compensation

• The approximate hourly for this position is $20.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
