Job summary

Cencora in Corona, CA is hiring for a full-time warehouse associate to support AmerisourceBergen's distribution services. You will verify receipts, stock shelves, rotate stock, and process prescriptions and mailing paperwork using automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Verify merchandise received against documents; note discrepancies and damages.
• Stock shelves with various merchandise.

• Pack patient orders and paperwork into shipping bags using a computer and bagger.
• Prepare mail manifest and ready mail orders for USPS/UPS.
• Assist in sortation and staging of prescriptions for sorting.
• Print tote manifest documentation for each filled tote and prepare nightly driver manifest.
• Load finished totes to designated pickup areas.
• Perform daily cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow safety rules.
• Overtime and inventory participation as required.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift Details: Full-Time | Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM (Mandatory OT)

Pay Details: Pay starting at $21.75 based on a variety of earning opportunities including referral bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Verifies merchandise received against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies and any obvious damages.
• Stocks shelves with various types of merchandise.
• Rotates stock so that newly-received items can be used last.
• Packing – completes patient order by placing prescriptions and associated paperwork into a shipping bag through the use of a computer and automated bagger.
• Mail Manifest – scans and makes US mail or UPS (if overnight delivery) ready completed/packed mail order prescriptions.
• Sortation – Assists the staging of prescriptions to be sorted into identified totes using an automated sorter.
• Central Fill Manifest – prints tote manifest documentation for each filled/closed tote and prepare nightly driver manifest for each truck line picking up totes from Central Fill.
• Staging – loads finished totes to designated areas for pickup.
• Performs daily cycle counts as directed by the shift supervisor and researches discrepancies.
• Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.
• Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules as defined by State Board of Pharmacy and DEA regulations.
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Education

Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Work Experience

Normally requires a minimum of one (1) year of equivalent work experience.

Skills and Knowledge

• Ability to read and understand the English language for the purpose of comparing and reading product descriptions, names and shelf labels.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
• Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.
• Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment at high levels (20’-40’) such as reach truck, picker machine, forklift, etc.
• Ability to help train and assist associates when needed.
• Must be a team player and demonstrate effective communication and problem solving skills.
• Maintain appropriate attendance standards.

Time Full Salary Range

$34,000 - 62,370 *This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
