Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring for warehouse associates to support its distribution operations. The role requires active, safe work, the ability to retrieve and pack orders, monitor inventory, and maintain orderly processes in a multi-temperature environment.

Shifts start in the late afternoon with a 4PM start time, Sunday through Friday with some days off; must have warehouse experience and be able to pass drug and background checks. Pay is competitive and includes benefits on day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves and replenish product from varied heights weighing 10–90 pounds.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Able to get certified in forklift operation and Electrical-Pallet Jack.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve product and stack orders for delivery; monitor inventory in the warehouse.
• Retrieve product according to printed customer orders and prepare packing.
• Restock order selection zones and consolidate merchandise.
• Apply shipping IDs and complete paperwork related to inventory processes.
• Maintain an orderly workstation and return supplies to assigned locations.
• Record materials and inventory levels; follow safety policies and procedures.

Position Details:

• Pay up to $30/hr with incentive
• Sun/Mon/Wed/Thur/Fri and off Tue/Sat,

Position Purpose:

Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company's success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• The Full Case retrieves product, stacks orders for delivery, and monitors inventory levels within the warehouse. Directs, stocks, selects, and replenishes products.
• Retrieves product in accordance with printed customer orders and packing products.
• Restocks order selection zones as necessary and consolidating merchandise. Stacks orders securely according to sequence of delivery route.
• Applies shipping ID labels to products and completing paperwork related to inventory process.
• Maintains orderly workstation; returns supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
• Records materials and inventory levels.
• Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Ensures work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6 + months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry
• Able to get certified in forklift operation and Electrical-Pallet Jack
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 + year of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• 6 + months EPJ experience
• Foodservice distribution or related industry experience
