Job summary

Sonnax Transmission, part of Marmon Holdings and Berkshire Hathaway family, is seeking an entry-level warehouse associate. Responsibilities include picking parts for orders, stocking inventory, reading work orders, and operating basic mechanized equipment in a team-driven environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, comfort with computers, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training for forklifts, pallet jacks, and waves will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED. Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Comfortable using computers.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick parts for work orders, customer orders or restocking inventory.
• Read work orders or pick slips to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed or shipped.
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Train to operate mechanized material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks and waves.
