Job summary

HMT is hiring a Warehouse Helper in Tomball, TX to support shipping, inventory and general warehouse operations. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include counting, weighing, packing finished products, lifting up to 50 pounds, operating forklifts, performing cycle counts and quality checks. Applicants should have at least one year in a warehouse setting and basic reading/writing skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse/storeroom environment.
• Read and understand written work instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Demonstrates simple reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, count, weigh, and pack finished products for shipment.
• The employee must be physically capable of lifting 50 pounds.
• Operate motorized equipment and participate in safety training programs.
• Read and follow written instructions.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain good housekeeping.
• Perform general warehouse tasks as directed by the General Supervisor.
• Perform quality control checks per the QMS manual.
• Operate forklift to move materials between warehouse locations.
• Pull, pack, label and verify finished goods for shipment.
• Perform cycle counts as part of Inventory Control.
