Job summary

Sunrise Electric Supply, part of Viking Electric and the Sonepar family, is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler Backup Wire Cutter in Addison, IL. The role supports warehouse operations, including loading, sorting, and packaging, with opportunities to learn forklift operation and scanning technologies.

The position offers full-time hours, Monday–Friday, with hourly pay in the $22–$27 range plus a wire-differential differential.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Willingness to learn forklift and handheld scanning device (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material using a forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or similar equipment.
• Count, check and record items entering or leaving the warehouse.
• Use a handheld device to scan barcodes and labels to track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
• Maintain order and cleanliness; follow safety procedures.
