Job summary

Distribution International is hiring a warehouse associate in Pasadena, TX. You will safely operate a forklift/pallet jack, perform cycle counts, and ensure loads are secured for transport in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires standing up to 12 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, and accurate basic math; forklift certification is preferred but not required. Local travel is minimal as duties are warehouse-based.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• Ability to use a handheld scanning unit.
• Compute basic math problems.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Cycle count inventory, storing in orderly and accessible manner, while inspecting stock items for wear or defects and reporting to supervision.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours to perform job related tasks.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
