Job summary

Mad City Windows & Baths in Knoxville, TN is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our distribution team. You will maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations and help prepare materials for field crews.

The role requires 1–2 years of warehouse experience, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and forklift experience. You may deliver product between offices and help keep our inventory accurate.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Minimum of 1-2 years Warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Must know safe warehouse practices.
• Must be willing to deliver product between offices on daily basis.
• Forklift experience required.
• Knowledge of home remodeling products or construction materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts.
• Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklift to place products and materials in proper place.
• Load and log materials onto truck and makes notation of returned materials.
• Prepare jobs and materials for all crews.
• Clean trucks (both inside and out).
• Deliver material/transporting employees to job sites.
• Other duties as assigned.
