Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Plainfield, IN. The role focuses on shipping and receiving, maintaining inventory, and safe, efficient warehouse operations to support our food distribution network.

Pay is $20.50 per hour with benefits starting Day 1, plus opportunities for growth within a safety-focused, inclusive workplace. Sunday through Thursday shift begins at 12pm, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift and move 10-90 pounds, depending on location.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Performs general warehouse duties as assigned including forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, break down pallets, wrapping pallets, order selection, loading, and receiving.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeps warehouse area, loading dock and trailers clear and clean as required.
• Performs daily safety check of the assigned forklift/pallet jack in accordance with company policy.
• Performs damage control checks on items received and contact supervisor about removing items according to company policy.
• Removes batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
• Reviews work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations.
• Puts on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
• Meets required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
• Secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
