Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Goods Receiving: unload and inspect incoming goods, verify against packing lists.
• Order Fulfillment & Shipping: pick, pack, and prepare orders; generate labels and docs.
• Forklift Operation: safely move and stack materials; perform routine checks.
• Warehouse Maintenance: keep a clean, organized workspace per 5S standards.
• Safety & Compliance: follow OSHA guidelines and wear PPE.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving and Shipping specialist to join our team in Suwanee, GA. This role involves receiving and shipping goods, printing labels, operating forklifts, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, accuracy, and teamwork to ensure seamless logistics support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Goods Receiving
   • Unload and inspect incoming shipping goods, verifying goods against packing lists.
   • Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the right person by email.
   • Sort out the products in the warehouse, place them on the shelves, and take the products from the shelves.
   • Prepare the products according to the order and complete the shipment.
   • Ensure the inventory of the warehouse and complete the inventory count every month.
     
2. Order Fulfillment & Shipping
   • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for daily shipments.
   • Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and necessary documentation (Excel, word, etc.).
   • Coordinate with carriers (e.g., FedEx, freight companies) for timely deliveries.
3. Forklift Operation
   • Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
   • Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
4. Warehouse Maintenance
   • Maintain a clean, organized workspace (5S standards: Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
5. Safety & Compliance
   • Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols.
   • Wear required PPE (safety shoes, gloves, etc.) at all times.

Qualifications

Required

• 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations or management.
• Communicate normally in English and can use computers relatively easily.
• Can handle products weighing between 50 and 100 pounds. Other personnel will assist as well.
• Self-starter, detail-oriented and goal-driven.
• Ability to work in extensive manual work environment.
  
• Ability to walk for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, email).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred

• Bilingual in English & Chinese (Mandarin).
  
• Experience and certification in operating forklifts. Valid forklift certification (OSHA-compliant).The company will also arrange for forklift training.
