Job summary

Hedy Holmes Staffing in Stockton, CA is seeking a Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our client’s team. The role splits about 50% forklift operation and 50% hands-on warehouse work, moving sand and brick products while maintaining safety protocols.

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4pm. Candidates should have sit-down forklift experience (propane and electric preferred), be comfortable with dusty environments, and willing to perform lifting and pallet work as part of daily

Qualifications

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift; propane and electric forklifts preferred.
• Ability to perform repeated lifting and work in a dusty warehouse environment.
• Willingness to spend roughly half the shift on manual labor.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and ready to help teammates.
• Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down propane and electric forklifts to move pallets and bags of sand throughout the warehouse.
• Stack and stage pallets neatly and safely for storage or shipment.
• Help rebuild pallets when loads break down.
• Assist other forklift operators with positioning and stacking bags of sand.
• Perform repeated lifting and other hands-on warehouse tasks.
• Sweep sand and dust, clean work areas, and help maintain an organized warehouse.
• Follow safety procedures and work cooperatively with the warehouse team.

Seeking a forklift operator who is comfortable splitting the day between forklift operation and hands-on warehouse work. The warehouse handles materials such as bagged sand and bricks and can be dusty. This position is approximately 50% forklift operation and 50% manual labor.
