Job summary

Utica Specialty Foods LLC in New Jersey seeks a Warehouse Associate to support a small food manufacturing operation. You will receive inbound shipments, verify items against purchase orders, and maintain logging and cleanliness of the warehouse.

The role requires forklift use, barcode scanning, and accurate handling of units of measure. You will also pick and pack online orders, palletize goods with proper paperwork, and move ingredients to production as needed.

Qualifications

• Standup and double-reach forklift experience is mandatory.
• Familiar with barcode scanning systems and technology.
• Understand units of measure (lbs, kg, etc).
• Experience with Fishbowl inventory software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments and verify against open purchase orders.
• Maintain inbound/outbound shipping logs.
• Prepare palletized outbound orders with proper paperwork.
• Pick and pack online orders and prepare for carrier pickup.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized and manage pallet rack barcode system.
• Pull ingredients and packaging to production floor before production date.
• Restock warehouse after production and remove warehouse garbage.

Job Description

Small Food Manufacturing company is looking to add a warehouse associate.

The ideal candidates will perform the following tasks:

• -Receive Inbound shipment
• -Check the inbound shipment with any open Purchase Order to make sure that the product ordered, and quantity ordered match.
• -Keep up the shipping and receiving log
• -prepare palletized outbound order following the pick ticket (pick, palletized, wrapped and have appropriate paperwork and pallet signs up and ready to go (pallet slip, do not stack sign, BoL etc)
• -Pick and pack online orders and have the parcel ready for FedEx, UPS, USPS before their pickup time.
• -Maintain the warehouse clean and organized
• -Keeping up the pallet rack barcode system
• -Using inventory software (fishbowl)
• -Pulling ingredients and packaging from the warehouse to the production floor prior to the production date.
• -Restocking the warehouse with the ingredients and packaging after a particular production is finished.
• -Taking the garbage in the warehouse out.

Standup, double reach forklift experience is mandatory.

Must be familiar with technology and barcode scanning system.

Must understand Unit of Measure (lbs, kg etc)

Previous experience in food manufacturing is encouraged.
