Job summary

Core-Mark in Cypress, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator to move freight from staging to storage and replenish pick slots in a fast-paced warehouse. You will follow GMP and safety standards, operate a forklift or pallet jack, and help maintain accurate inventories.

Shifts cover dry and freezer/cooler areas with pay between $20.00 and $21.00 per hour. Start times are 5am, Sunday to Thursday; overtime may be required. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities in a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent required.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution experience preferred.
• Must have stand-up reach experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime as needed.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and places pallets with forklift or hand stack items.
• Counts incoming freight and transports to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
• Replenishes pick slots and rotates stock as per policy.
• Inspects pallets and moves pallets to storage areas.
• Follows safety policies and reports unsafe conditions.
• Performs housekeeping and completes paperwork at shift end.
